Park Run: parkrun events are currently suspended due to COVID-19, although you can walk, jog or run your own 5k route and submit your time online.
South Gwent Ramblers: this walking group meets Sundays, 9.30am at the top Civic Centre car park on Fields Road. Walks range from 5 miles for short and 10 miles for long flat level walk.

Ramblers Cymru - Paths to Wellbeing Project: Paths to wellbeing project delivers community volunteering to enhance local green spaces, nature, and access. It seeks to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of communities by helping them become more active in better quality, more biodiverse and accessible green spaces.
Taking place in Maindee, tasks may include sowing wildflower seed or planting trees.
