Free school meals

COVID-19: food vouchers for October half-term week were issued Thursday 22 October 2020.

We are liaising with suppliers to finalise distribution dates for vouchers for Year 9 pupils and above for the following week.

From Monday 27 April 2020, families of eligible pupils will receive a fortnightly supermarket voucher to the value of £39 per child.

There is no application process, vouchers will be issued to each eligible child.

The vouchers may be redeemed in all branches of Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco and will be emailed to you - please ensure that your child's school has your correct email address.

Vouchers are emailed throughout the day, please wait until the end of the day for your voucher email to arrive.

If you do not have an email address, your voucher will be sent to your child’s school where you can arrange to collect it.

If you receive certain benefits your children may be entitled to free school meals - read Welsh Government guidance on entitlement to free school meals.

Pupils receiving free school meals are entitled to either a main meal or a selection from the snack bar service.
